Did you know your extended health benefits may cover a portion of your Registered Massage Therapy treatments?

At Alberta Momentum Massage, we make using your benefits easy with direct billing to a wide range of insurance companies and benefit providers. Instead of paying the full treatment cost and waiting for reimbursement, we can submit your eligible claim directly to your provider, leaving you responsible only for the portion not covered by your plan.

How to Get the Most From Your Massage Benefits

Many extended health plans provide an annual maximum for massage therapy. Understanding your coverage can help you make the most of the benefits you've already paid for.

Check Your Annual Coverage

Look at your benefits plan to find out:

  • How much massage therapy coverage you have each year
  • What percentage of each treatment is covered
  • Whether there is a maximum per visit
  • Whether you have a deductible
  • When your benefits reset

Don't Let Your Benefits Go Unused

If your benefits reset at the end of the year, unused coverage may not carry forward. Checking your remaining balance can help you determine whether you still have treatments available before your benefit year ends.

Regular massage therapy can also be a proactive part of maintaining mobility, managing muscle tension, supporting recovery, and addressing common concerns such as neck and shoulder tension, headaches, back discomfort, and activity-related injuries.

Coordinate Your Benefits

If you have coverage through both your employer and a spouse or partner, you may be able to coordinate benefits. This can potentially reduce your out-of-pocket costs even further.

Because every plan is different, check with your insurance providers for their specific coordination-of-benefits requirements.

We're Here to Make It Easy
