After graduating from Grant MacEwan University’s Massage Therapy course in 2015, Michael has taken multiple classes with professionals Kip Petch and James Waslaski in 2017 and 2018, including the opportunity to assist James in teaching a class in 2018.
Michael has worked with a variety of cases in my near-decade of work from post-surgery care, to sports injuries, to various cases of arthritis and even a crushed ankle from a fall.
He utilizes both the foundation learned in school, and the more advanced methods of application that he studied with James, known as Integrated Manual Therapy, to perform treatments. These treatments use a variety of Joint mobilization, as well as facial and musclework in a pain free manner, typically. He focuses on injury prevention via mobilization of “stuck” structures, and injury rehabilitation by reduction of pain, and muscle activation.
